A REMEMBERED CAMPUS

This browser-based campus experience returns to a Guangdong primary school in the early 1980s. Walk through the teaching building, playground, old classrooms and shade; open doors and windows, sit at a desk, draw on a blackboard, throw chalk, shoot baskets or play table tennis.
The campus is reconstructed from first-hand memory, hand-drawn plans, historical photographs and dimensional estimates. It is a work of memory, not a measured survey; unverified dimensions and details remain working values or interpretations.

A person remembers; AI helps memory become space
The developer supplies first-hand memories, historical material, spatial intuition and the repeated verdict of whether each build feels right. AI agents help organise those clues into plans, models, materials, code and tests. Every version returns to a real browser, where a person looks, walks and corrects it again.
This campus was not generated from a single picture. It has gradually emerged through sketches, discussion, studies, modelling, play and revision.
PRODUCTION AND RESOURCES
What this memory is made with
Creative and collaboration tools
Hermes supports research; Concept Draw on iPad is used for sketches; Blender for 3D work; ocenaudio for audio editing; and MiniMax Music for AI-assisted music. AI agents help with research organisation, implementation and verification.
Runtime
Three.js builds the browser-based 3D scene and interactions; Vite handles development and production builds. Match graphics use TakWolf’s Fusion Pixel Font under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Sound and music
Kenney interface, RPG and impact sounds are used under CC0. Cicadas by BlenderTimer and frogs by Kuzu420 are used under the Pixabay Content License. “Afternoon in the Schoolyard” was created by the developer with MiniMax Music and edited in ocenaudio.
3D assets
The basketball comes from a CC0 asset by DigitalN8m4r3. The table-tennis paddle by Kin Chen comes from BlenderKit, is substantially modified and remains under the BlenderKit Royalty Free licence; it is not distributed as a standalone model.
OPEN SOURCE, ARCHIVE AND RIGHTS
Code and writing have separate licences
The project’s software code uses the MIT License. Original articles and written documentation distributed in the public repository use CC BY 4.0. Third-party assets retain their own licences, documented in the repository’s asset manifest.
Historical photographs, old textbooks and exercise books come from personal material held or organised by the developer. Some imagery has been restored, redrawn or regenerated with AI to reconstruct the remembered campus. Open-sourcing the code or writing does not grant redistribution rights to those media.
The public repository contains only code, writing and assets confirmed for distribution. Rights in existing works, names, marks and people depicted in the source archive remain with their respective owners. Runtime assets restricted by licences such as BlenderKit are not published as independently extractable files.
